How do I know which service my centrifuge needs?

Start with where you are in your service schedule. Minor service every six months, major service every year. If something has already failed or your centrifuge is down, that's an emergency call. Not sure? Call us — we'll point you in the right direction before you even schedule anything. 

What's the difference between field service and shop service?

Field service means a Separators technician comes to your plant. Shop service means your equipment — typically the bowl — comes to us in Indianapolis for repairs that can't be done in the field. Most minor and major service is handled on-site; shop service is recommended when your technician identifies something that needs special equipment or more time than a field visit allows. 

Do you service all centrifuge brands?

Yes. Alfa Laval, Tetra Pak, Westfalia, GEA — we service them all. We're brand-agnostic, which means our loyalty is to keeping your equipment running, not to any manufacturer's service contract. 

How far in advance do I need to schedule?

As soon as you know your service window. We book out, especially during peak seasons. The further out you schedule, the easier it is to match your plant's timeline. Emergency service is available 24/7/365 with no advance scheduling required. 

What happens if my technician finds something unexpected during a service visit?

They'll tell you on the spot and walk you through the options before any additional work is done. You'll also get a full service report review before the technician leaves your plant.
