wheylan-arrow-graphicEmergency centrifuge service FAQs.

Wheylan would prefer you never need this page. But since you're here, here's what to expect.

What counts as a centrifuge emergency?

If your centrifuge is down and production is stopped (or about to stop), that's an emergency. Call us immediately at 1-800-233-9022.

How fast can you get someone on site?

Fast. We reserve availability specifically for emergency calls so we can respond right away. As soon as we have a route, someone is on their way. We'll also walk you through what to check while you wait — sometimes we can get you back up before a technician arrives.

Are you available nights and weekends?

24/7/365. The emergency hotline doesn't go to voicemail. Call 1-800-233-9022.

What should I have ready when I call?

Your centrifuge model and serial number if you have them, a description of what happened and when it started, any error codes or unusual sounds, and your current operating pressures and temperatures if you can check them safely.

Will you have the parts you need when you arrive?

In most cases, yes. We stock over 4,000 parts in Indianapolis and coordinate shipping to your technician before they arrive.

What happens after the emergency is resolved?

Your technician will walk you through what failed, why it happened, and what it means for your next scheduled service. An emergency visit doesn't replace your regular service interval. If anything, it's a good reason to look at your maintenance schedule sooner rather than later.
