We offer a wide array of services at Separators - from custom automation technology and control panels to fully remanufactured equipment and training. But more than anything else, we are a service company. Meeting both the day-to-day and unexpected needs of centrifuge equipment is at the core of what we do.

As the largest independent service technician organization in North America for Alfa Laval, Tetra Pak, and Westfalia high-speed disc and decanter centrifuges, we offer a full array of services to get our customers on the right path, optimize their current processes, and keep their facilities running efficiently.

Field Service and Shop Service

Our technicians play an irreplaceable role in serving our customers. Whether they’re working out in the field or repairing equipment in the shop, our technicians provide world-class service. Let’s take a look at the difference between field service and shop service and the most common types of each.

Field Service

When we say our technicians work “out in the field,” we mean they’re traveling to customer facilities all across the United States. We dispatch our nine, full-time service technicians wherever they’re needed to ensure plants are able to restore optimal functionality as quickly as possible.

Typical types of field service we provide include:

When you’re in need of field service, our techs bring their expertise right into your facility, and they do it at the drop of a hat.

Shop Service

Unlike field service where we come to your centrifuge, shop service brings your centrifuge to us. You see, there are some equipment needs that require certain capabilities – like tools and equipment – that can’t be flown across the country as efficiently as our spare parts, and our technicians can. In those times, our customer's equipment receives shop services at our facility in Indianapolis, IN.

Typical types of shop service we provide include:

Our Indianapolis facility contains all of the mechanical, machining, welding, balancing, bead blasting, and painting capabilities to repair and remanufacture separator equipment. And we frequently expedite emergency shop service repairs as well. As an added benefit, our rental bowl program can keep the majority of facilities running their processes while their equipment is in the shop. How’s that for service?
